When you feel the void


That emptiness you feel,where in your body do you feel it, head, heart, stomach? The emptiness you feel comes from a state of lack, feeling alone and it's uncomfortable so we search for something or someone to fill that space. And guess what, it's not what your looking for, your still searching, your disappointed, doesn't live up to expectation. You still feel empty so you go ahead and fill it with addiction, food, alcohol, drugs, co dependancy, busyness.The void is till there and can be felt more than ever and it's building and building.

The void creates distance, physically, emotionally and mentally and separates you from yourself, others and your desires. That wedge drives harder and the gap grows wider.

There is a healthy and simple way to heal that void and mend any bridges. It is through self love and self nurturing. You must give to yourself you can't expect another to do that for you, they can't.When you are in a state of lack all you will attract are others and situations with the same, and the cycle continues.

Do little things each day, change doesn't have to be drastic it can be subtle. It does however take a commitment from you to do this for yourself. Put some flowers in your home, fill it with beauty and sensual scents, take an essential oil bath, Allow yourself to feel what is on offer, the luxury of indulgence without guilt, without having to rely on another. Give yourself credit where credit is due, for smiling in the face of adversity, saying no to that chocolate bar, allowing yourself to receive, take a compliment graciously. Begin with the small stuff until it becomes natural.

That void is there because you haven't given to yourself, have neglected yourself even walked away from yourself. Self love is calling, apprecite the person you are and what you have to offer.xx
