What I learnt from my kids

Children want acknowledgement for their individuality whether it be in the way they dress, think, speak or act. This is very different from belonging which is often confused. They can still be individual yet belong to a group or be a part of a group.Individuality brings a sense of distinction for who they are, a way to be seen and noticed. Individuality is self expression, an outlet and they should be encouraged in every way possible. It also fosters their growth and when they feel comfortable being able to be the person they are they bloom and that is beautiful.xx
